PVC Coated Barbed Iron Wire:

Core of PVC Coated Barbed Iron Wire can be galvanized iron wire or black annealed iron wire.

Barbed wire fencing mounted along building perimeter wall in three strands, installed on the supporting arms, to form an anti-climbing security barrier. Barbed wire, 2 ply strand wire, 4 points, material galvanised mild steel, 2.5 mm.

Barbed arms:
1. Barb arms shall be fabricated from pressed steel or cast iron and hot-dip galvanized in accordance with ASTM F626.
2. Barb arms shall be fitted with clips or slots for attaching the barbed wire to the barb arm.
3. The base of the barb arm shall be clamped or mounted in a manner that the clamp or mounted hardware is only accessible from inside the fenced enclosure along the composite fence and from the inside-top of the wall. When the base of the barb arm has been securely fastened, the arm shall be capable of supporting a vertical 250-lb. Load attached where the outer strand of barbed wire would connect to the arm, without causing any permanent deflection of the barb arm.
4. Barb arms for intermediate and corner posts shall extend at a 45-degree angle outward, placing the top strand of barbed wire approximately 12 inches above and 12 inches outside the top rail with the remaining two strands of barbed wire uniformly spaced between the top rail and the top strand of barbed wire.

5. End posts shall be fitted with malleable iron caps and shall extend high enough for attachment of the 3 strands of barbed wire in a vertical configuration.
